The former Everton and Chelsea man missed last weekend’s game at Fulham with a slight hamstring injury but manager Rob Edwards revealed he returned to training on Friday and could be involved in next Saturday’s game at Goodison Park.

The Hatters will still be without long-term duo Jordan Clark and Dan Potts for the visit of Wolves.

Edwards, who played 111 times for the Molineux club, is focusing on the Town registering their first points in the Premier League when his old club come to Kenilworth Road.

“We want to get points on the hard, we’ve been really positive this week,” said the boss.

“The supporters’ have given us so much it makes me emotional, especially after four defeats in a row.

“They are with us, and they recognise the challenge we face and the journey the club has made to get to this point.

“We all want to be positive, and we really believe that its coming.”
