Racism. In 2024, it’s still happening.
This season we’ve been angered and upset at the online abuse members of our first team squad have received.
It’s disgraceful, callous, cowardly and it’s hurting people close to us.
And when it hurts one of us, it hurts all of us.
Watch this video.
We showed a selection of the horrific messages our players have received – and that we subsequently reported to the authorities – this season to a cross-section of our staff.
Our message is simple: If you attack one of us, you attack all of us.
We’re all Luton – and we pride ourselves on the environment we foster. We’re warm, welcoming, multi-cultural. We’re a family. We love our Club, our town and our people.
There’s no room for racism. Full stop. And we’ll continue to do all we can to stand up for our players and our people.
Racism in any form will not be tolerated at Luton Town, so should you witness such abhorrent and unwelcome behaviour report it to us directly by emailing myvoice@lutontown.co.uk or via our online matchday incident reporting form, and to the Premier League by clicking here.
