Manchester City loanee Luke Bolton will be hoping to play his part this afternoon as England Under-20s take on Italy at the Stadio Ennio Tardini, with that fixture kicking off at 1pm.
They then fly home to face the Czech Republic on Monday at Peterborough United’s Weston Homes Stadium – kick-off for that one is at 7pm.
Goalkeeper Simon Sluga could add to his one international appearance for Croatia this evening as they play Hungary in Split at 7.45pm for their UEFA Euro 2020 qualification match.
It’s then a return to the UK for the 26-year-old as Zlatko Dalić’s side head to the Cardiff City Stadium, where they take on Ryan Giggs’ Wales.
Striker James Collins will have to wait until Saturday before he will know if he will add to his one cap – having netted on his debut against Bulgaria last month – as they play Georgia at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena, hoping to extend their lead at the top of group D.
Collo’s European journey with the Boys in Green will then take him to Switzerland, for what could prove to be a huge match for Mick McCarthy’s team’s hopes of qualifying for Euro 2020.
Good luck to James, Luke and Simon!
