Taylor was in prolific form for Colchester United in League Two. The striker, who scored from the spot in the play-off final in May, hit 12 goals in 27 appearances for the Essex club.
A back injury sadly meant midfielder Thorpe was restricted to just two appearances with League One Shrewsbury Town, while forward Pepple appeared six times for Bromley in the National League.
Meanwhile, there has been movement involving three of the Town's development squad players.
Tobias Braney's loan at Bishop's Stortford has ended and the striker has now joined Hayes & Yeading United until the end of the season.
His teammate Tyrelle Newton also returns to Kenilworth Road following his spell at Hemel Hempstead in National League South.
Finally, young centre-half Ben Tompkins has extended his loan at National League South Braintree Town until the end of the season.
