The Hatters are happy to report that well over £5,000 was raised for the Royal British Legion through a shirt auction and bucket collections.

The players wore shirts with the poppy printed on the front for our Sky Bet Championship fixture against Nottingham Forest, which were then auctioned to raise money for the charity – which raised £4,278 in total.

Bucket collections also took place at the game, with supporters generously donating just over £1,200 on the day.

All money raised goes towards helping wounded, injured or sick members of the Armed Forces or their families.

A huge thank you to all those who donated or bid on a shirt.
