Central defender Sheehan wore the captain's armband for much of the season and produced several stellar performances in April to help Nathan Jones' side over the promotion line with two games to spare.

And Elliot moved into a new role at the tip of the midfield diamond for the final few games of the season, scoring in the wins over Yeovil and Crewe while helping the team win four and draw one during an unbeaten month.
