Report discriminatory abuse of any kind

Ahead of today’s game with Manchester United and next Wednesday’s match at Liverpool, we would like to remind supporters of the matchday reporting system – designed to make watching the Hatters a welcoming one for every fan.

The tool enables any supporter to report incidents, or behaviours immediately on a match day. This includes discriminatory abuse of any kind.

Any abusive, offensive, homophobic and discriminatory chanting and/or gesturing will likely lead to the club receiving a fine, unsavoury media attention to the Club and, if identified, will potentially result in you losing your place at Kenilworth Road. Furthermore, tragedy chanting or gesturing is an arrestable offence. The CPS updated its prosecution guidance on football related offences which reconfirmed in August last year that such related abuse can be prosecuted as a public order offence.

So remember, please sing loud in your support for the team, but if you’re in any doubt, if you don’t know what you’re singing, don’t sing it.

Thank you for your cooperation.

If you are offended by any discriminatory abuse of any kind at any Luton Town home game, you can report it on the reporting system here, or by contacting your nearest steward immediately.

Alternatively, you can email myvoice@lutontown.co.uk.
