A 2-0 loss against Stoke City was the first time Town have lost at home in the league during the 2020/21 campaign, whereas Millwall earned three points against newly promoted Wycombe Wanderers in a narrow 2-1 win at Adams Park.

On Millwall: “They’re starting to establish themselves as a Championship side. They are because they came down and spent a season or two there and went straight back up. They might actually have gone straight back up.
“And then they’ve got a very experienced manager in Gary Rowett, who I know very well, so you know what you’re going to get. It’s going to be a real tough game. Gary’s got them playing very well and he’s done a fantastic job there.
“There are no real stars but that helps at times because he’s got a great working group that graft for him, so he knows what he’s going to get. They’re a tough, tough side and it’s a difficult place to go at the best of times.”
On squad availability: “Bear in mind, we’ve still got Bree and Potts injured. They’re very, very close to being back and available. So, once we get everyone back then we think it’s the strongest squad that Luton have had for many a year and we’ve had some wonderful squads here and wonderful players. It’s significantly stronger than any squad that I’ve had here and we’re very pleased with that.
“We’ve had a wonderful window. I thank the board and I thank Gary for the backing we’ve got. Obviously, we’ve got the majority of our ones on permanent, which is a real big prerequisite for us. And the ones that we weren’t able to, for reasons that the club value them, we took on loan, which goes against policy but, for those, we made an exception.”

Millwall gained promotion through League One in 2017 via the Play-Offs and have remained in the division ever since – finishing 8th, 21st and 8th respectively.
The Lions were FA Cup finalists in 2004 but suffered a 3-0 defeat against Manchester United.
The manager – Gary Rowett
Gary Rowett joins the Lions after Neil Harris was relieved of his duties following the game against the Hatters in October 2019.
He led Millwall to an 8th place finish last season and they’re currently in 7th position, one point and one place behind the Hatters.
Main threat – Jed Wallace
Jed Wallace enjoyed a fantastic season for Millwall last term, scoring ten goals and providing 12 assists. He has continued that fine form in the early stages of this campaign, scoring three goals in five Championship games thus far.

The referee for tonight’s fixture is Tony Harrington – who took charge of three Town games last season, most recently against Nottingham Forest away in January.

The two sides last met on New Year’s Day and Millwall were 3-1 winners on that occasion.
The Lions have the better all-time head-to-head record also, recording 34 wins compared to Town’s 22, since the first ever meeting in 1903.
