Following back-to-back league victories against Cardiff City and Stoke City, the Hatters will be looking to put midweek cup disappointment behind them and stretch the gap between themselves and the chasing play-off pack.

The opposition:

Coventry City start the day in 15th position with one win in their last five matches. Six points off the play-off places, the Sky Blues will be looking for an eighth home victory as they look to close the gap in a tight league table.

Viktor Gyokeres has scored 13 goals in all competitions this season and is the joint second-highest scorer in the division. The Swedish forward scored against Luton in the reverse fixture and is Coventry's most potent threat, followed by Hamer who has contributed towards eight goals this term.

Last time we met:

Coventry twice came from behind to secure their first point of the season in a 2-2 draw at Kenilworth Road.

Carlton Morris smashed home an opening goal before Gyokeres equalised after racing through on goal. The Luton man then scored his second of the match four minutes later, though Hamer would equalise for the away side just after the hour mark from range.

Match information:

The whole world has been moved by the heart-breaking scenes witnessed in Turkey and Syria after a tragic earthquake hit both countries in the early hours of Monday morning.

To help raise awareness and as a mark of respect to those who have tragically lost their lives, Luton Town and Coventry City players - along with all other EFL clubs at their fixtures this weekend - will wear black armbands and hold a minute’s silence at the Coventry Building Society Arena tomorrow.
