This week, we caught up with Joseph, who we spoke to in March 2019 while he was on his guided apprenticeship from Central Beds College. Joseph has learning difficulties, and benefitted greatly from his time with Central Beds and during his apprenticeship with us.
So much so, that on the conclusion of his apprenticeship, Joseph was offered a permanent contract at Luton Town, where he now works as part of the maintenance team. Joseph talks about how he's been getting on and what his role at the Club is all about, we also spoke to stadium manager Peter Kemp about Joseph's progress.
Luton Town work closely with our partners across the education sector, and the Luton Town Disabled Supporters' Association (LTDSA) to ensure that we're doing what we can to make the Club as inclusive as we can for people living with disabilities of all kinds.
Later this week we will be publishing a video with Richard Hill MBE - the chair of the LTDSA who talks in depth about their work in supporting the club, and how, together we are making progress in delivering as inclusive an experience as possible.
You can also watch Joseph's video from March 2019 below. Well done Joseph - keep up the great work.
