We can confirm that Chiedozie Ogbene has joined Ipswich Town on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old Republic of Ireland international arrived at Kenilworth Road from Rotherham United in the summer of 2023 and quickly became a fans’ favourite with his performances on the Hatters’ right flank.

He appeared 39 times in a Luton shirt, scoring five goals, and makes a swift return to the Premier League with the newly-promoted Suffolk club having started all three of our Championship matches so far this term.
