Like the Town Under-18s in their semi-final victory at Cheltenham last month, Oxford needed penalties to overcome Exeter City on Saturday.

The winners of the game, which will take place on Saturday 31st March, will then face the victors of the Northern Area Final between Wigan Athletic and Hartlepool United.

This is the third season in a row that the Town have played in the regional final, beating Swindon Town in 2015-16 before going on to win the national title against Shrewsbury. Last year they lost in the southern final at AFC Bournemouth.
