As fans will be aware, the Supporters of Luton Youth Development have been doing exactly that for many seasons now, and the Town scholars were grateful for the opportunity to spend time together at Essex Outdoors in Bradwell-on-sea from Sunday to Wednesday.
The lads took part in many activities to enhance team building and problem solving, including high ropes, cycling, archery, sailing, fencing and raft building.
Coaches Alan McCormack and Alex Lawless joined in too, and Alan said: “Trips like this are crucial for the new scholars and the second years getting to know each other, and learning to trust each other in different scenarios that can be transferred onto the pitch.
“We’d like to thank SoLYD for their help with funding the trip and for the great work they’ve done to support the academy over so many years.”
