The successful candidate will be responsible for the medical provision for the U9-16 squads. This is a very diverse role which will require exceptional organisational and communication skills. In addition to clinical responsibilities, they will work with the Senior Academy Physiotherapist and Lead Academy Sports Therapist to manage a team of part-time and student therapists, to deliver with the academy injury clinic and match day program. Additionally, the post-holder will have opportunities to travel with Academy squads on tours in the UK and abroad. The role also requires a degree of flexibility to accommodate changes to additional medical cover at short notice, and an expectation to assist the with the treatment and management of the U18 squad as required.
