It was a first defeat in five matches for the Hatters who will now immediately turn their attention to the Good Friday fixture against Nottingham Forest looking to get back to winning ways.
“There is no time to be doom and gloom, Bradley said post-match. “There’s not even a week between now and our next game. The manager just said then that’s it’s time to get our heads up. We’re in a brilliant position, at the start of the season with five games left, if you told us we’d be in this position, we would have taken it all day long.
“It’s just about getting together now, we will probably be in a bad mood tomorrow we have a day off but then we will come back in and it’s time to get our heads back on and get ready for Nottingham Forest which will be a really tough game and important one.
Following his penalty miss, Bradley put an arm around Elijah Adebayo who he knows will come back fighting after missing from the spot.
“Elijah is a brilliant character, he has a great attitude and like myself and the rest of the team, he will think about that for the next 24 hours which is natural and he won’t be able to avoid that.
“He’s a top striker who wants to score goals and I just had a quiet word with him then, Kal Naismith and the manager said the same to him, you’re one of the best strikers in the division, this is the Championship and it’s a tough division.
“You have proven this season you are a real handful and there are teams out there that are in fear of Elijah because I know that first hand having spoken to players from other teams.”
Facing another play-off rival in Nottingham Forest will be another big test for Bradley and his team-mates, but he is relishing the thought being in front of the Sky cameras and a packed Kenilworth Road.
“Forest are a good team and we’re going to have to be well prepared. I’m sure they have seen us tonight and looked at us, but it’s all about us. Teams know how hard it is to play at Kenilworth Road so there’s absolutely no doubt the fans will get behind us.”
