Harry Isted, Glen Rea, Carlos Mendes Gomes and Dion Pereira all gained valuable minutes in a competitive fixture against Stevenage, whilst Addy said post-match: "It was a good game, it was tough, but we saw the game out in the end. It obviously helps when a few players have come from the first-team but it was a good victory.
“It’s good to be able learn from the experiences of other players, Carlos [Mendes Gomes] has come from elsewhere and Dion [Pereira] has been training with the first-team for a while now. They bring a lot of quality and it helps a lot as they link well between players as well."
Highlighting Nathan Jones' trust in youth during pre-season and the campaign so far, TQ added: “The club shows faith in the younger players and shows if you are doing well, then you are going to get your chance and it’s about whether you take it or not.
Seeing Dion [Pereira] and Becks [Sam Beckwith] step-up gives us all a bit more motivation to go a little bit harder and a little bit extra to show that, if the work gets recognised then we could step up as well.”
