Arsenal's Matt Turner was between the sticks for both matches as they settled for a goalless draw against Saudi Arabia in Spain yesterday evening, following defeat against Japan last week.

Meanwhile, Ed McJannet captained Republic of Ireland Under 19s to victory against Hungary as they finished their series of qualification games in Group 4 of the UEFA Under 19 Championships with a 1-0 win, following wins against Gibraltar and Wales.

Finally, Head of Performance Development James Redden was part of the England Under 21 set-up for his third international camp.

Assisting the Young Lions as a Physical Performance Coach, England Under 21s were successful against Italy U21s and Germany U21s, the latter of which was a 3-1 win at Bramall Lane last night thanks to goals from Folarin Balogun, Conor Gallagher and Cole Palmer.
