The Welshman has made two changes from the side that started in the 2-0 defeat against Huddersfield Town on Monday night.
One of those changes comes in defence, with Reece Burke back in the starting line-up for the first time since he suffered an injury against Preston North End last month.
Robert Snodgrass makes his first start for the Hatters after coming off the bench at the John Smith's Stadium, replacing the injured Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu.
Tom Lockyer is back on the bench and there is a place amongst the substitutes for Elliot Thorpe who featured in the Development squad's 1-0 win against Swansea City U23s on Tuesday.
