The midfielder - one of three changes to face the Seasiders - was a first-half substitute on Tuesday night against Reading, and returns to the starting line-up for the first time since the Carabao Cup defeat against Newport County in August.
Jordan Clark returns after missing out in midweek with Alfie Doughty sidelined with a tight hamstring. Top scorer Carlton Morris also returns, with Harry Cornick on the bench.
Development Squad midfielder Conor Lawless is involved in the first team matchday squad for the first time, joining Casey Pettit amongst the substitutes.
