Hatters boss Nathan Jones has made four changes to his starting line-up from Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at Peterborough for tonight’s Sky Bet League One fixture with Southend United at Kenilworth Road.

The first comes in goal, where James Shea replaces Marek Stech for his first appearance of the season.

With Alan McCormack injured and club captain Alan Sheehan on the bench, Glen Rea comes into the side and will skipper the team for the first time in a league match, having worn the armband in the Carabao Cup at West Brom last week.

He is joined in midfield by fellow substitutes from the 3-1 defeat at Posh, Jorge Grant and Andrew Shinnie, with Elliot Lee pushed up front to partner Danny Hylton in place of James Collins.
