Coming into the midfield in place of Flynn Downes – who joins up with England Under-19s this evening – is Luke Gambin, the Malta international who has impressed with his performances from the bench in recent weeks.
Elliot Lee, who also featured from the bench in the second-half fightback to earn a point from 2-0 down at Coventry in midweek, comes back into the team up front, in place of Harry Cornick as the Hatters seek a first win in five matches.
There is also a return to the teamsheet for the first time in six months for midfielder Alan McCormack, who is back on the bench after battling back from injury suffered in the 2-1 win at Wycombe on September 16th.
Today’s game also marks a milestone for centre-half Alan Sheehan, as the 31-year-old Irishman makes his 400th career appearance – and 99th for the Hatters. Well done Alan!
