“He’s good, he’s trained well and has had no issues,” manager Rob Edwards said at his Thursday press conference.
“We’ll make the right call on him. If he starts, then he won’t be likely to play the full game but he’s in a position to feature and he’s good to go.
“We’ve missed his energy, his pressing and his presence in defending and attacking set pieces.”
The Town squad is likely to be similar to the one which was on duty last weekend with the game coming too soon for winger Chiedozie Ogbene.
Gabe Osho was feeling the effects after the defeat at Molineux but has come through the week unscathed and will be ready to go to face the Toffees.
Midfielder Ross Barkley was withdrawn for Adebayo at Wolves but Edwards says the substitution was a tactical one and he’s ready to face his former club.
“He felt the back of his knee slightly but he’s trained and he’s fine,” said the manager.
“Everton is a special club for him, it’s his club, he came through there and played a good number of games for them.
“But it won’t be the Ross Barkley show, we want him to play the right way for us. We’ll ensure he doesn’t take too much responsibility on but listen, it’s always nice to play your former club.”
