Firstly, Development squad defender and Beds Senior Cup winner Ben Tompkins is heading out on loan to Bedford Town in the Southern League Premier Central division until the end of the season.
This is the centre-half's first loan away from Kenilworth Road, and it comes at the same time as we are able to announce that the 18-year-old former Barnet youngster has signed his first professional contract with the Hatters.
Congratulations from all at the Club, Ben!
Tompkins' partner at the heart of the young Hatters' defence on Tuesday night in that 6-2 win over Biggleswade FC, Aidan Francis-Clarke, is also going to gain his first taste of senior football, having joined National League South side St Albans City on loan until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old has recently recovered from a long-term knee injury and will be joining the Saints in their push for play-off football in the sixth tier.
Beds Senior Cup Final scorer Avan Jones will be joining Tyrelle Newton at National League South outfit Cheshunt on loan until the end of the season. This move is 21-year-old right-back Jones' second loan of the season, having previously spent a month in the same Step 2 division with Welling United.
Midfielder Newton, the 19-year-old who has already spent three months with the Ambers, has had his loan extended until the end of the season.
Another one of our Beds Senior Cup Final scorers is going back to the National League South – midfielder Conor Lawless will join Dulwich Hamlet on loan until the end of the season after the expiration of his loan at Farnborough.
Striker Josh Allen has returned on loan to Southern League Premier Central side Hitchin Town until the end of the season, while midfielder Callum Nicolson’s loan with Southern League Division One Central club Welwyn Garden City has been extended until the end of the season.
We would like to wish all the boys the best of luck while they are out on loan!
