We are humbled by all of those people who have purchased season tickets for 2020-21, upgraded them and made donations in addition to that commitment to help the club’s cashflow, with no matchday income.
Over the weekend we received another heart-warming email from Thomas Moller, treasurer of the Luton Town Supporters' Club of Scandinavia.
Thomas wrote: "Luton Town Supporters' Club of Scandinavia are happy to announce that we have generated £1,000 through a public online crowdfunding in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. This gift to Luton Town Football Club is a sign of support during the difficult period of time for our beloved club."
It is another sign of how much supporters want to help the club, and chairman David Wilkinson (pictured below with Thomas on one of their recent visits to Kenilworth Road) said: "We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the fundraising.
"It is very thoughtful and generous of all of our supporters from Scandinavia who come over to watch our matches on a regular basis. We are most grateful and we hope to see you all again in the not too distant future."
The Scandinavian Hatters also sent £1,000 to the Bricklayers Arms, the fans' pub where they always head when in Luton. Landlady Alison Taylor tweeted: "I'm speechless!"
