Hatters manager Rob Edwards spoke to the media in his pre-match press conference ahead of our Premier League trip to West Ham United this Saturday.

“We’ll expect the best version of West Ham,” said the boss on Friday afternoon. “David Moyes has done a great job, they have been consistent during his time there and got a trophy so should get a great response from their supporters. I have a lot of respect for him.

“Everyone at West Ham deserves the credit for their success over the last few years. They only lost to an unstoppable team in the Europa League [Bayer Leverkusen] this time, so they have a great squad.

“I don’t think it’s a miracle, we’ve been in worse situations as a club. We know what we have to do, and it starts tomorrow.

“We’ll concentrate on ourselves, and we’ll need help from others. It’s difficult to win games in the Premier League and it’s tough, but we need to do our job.

“It means a lot, the support after the play-offs will be something I cherish forever. We’ve grown into the league and now we’ve shown quality and can compete. I think we’ve lost in style at times, the performances have been good but we’re at a point where we need points.

“All we can do is concentrate on West Ham because it’s still there for us. We’ve had a good week in training and we’re ready to give absolutely everything in this game.”
