Having led the Hatters into the play-off places since taking over in November, the 40-year-old oversaw three wins and one draw from four matches in the month to maintain his side's fourth place.
Edwards, pictured giving a team talk to the Year 6 children who represented the Hatters at the Utilita Kids Cup on March 7, saw his Town side beat Swansea at home, second-placed Sheffield United away and Bristol City at Kenilworth Road - all by a 1-0 scoreline - before conceding their only goal of the month, a penalty that never was, in the 1-1 draw at Sunderland.
Just as he was when nominated for January, the former Wales international is up against Middlesbrough's Michael Carrick in the running for the award. Stoke City's Alex Neil and Coventry City's Mark Robins are the other two gaffers in contention, and here is what the league sponsors said about each of them:
Michael Carrick (Middlesbrough)
The new manager bounce at the Riverside is now a misnomer, yet Middlesbrough continue to soar under Carrick, despatching Reading 5-0 and Preston 4-0 as they collected another 10 points and 13 goals from four March games.
Rob Edwards (Luton Town)
Edwards’ side didn’t concede a goal from open play to continue their quiet ascent towards the automatic promotion places with 10 points from four games. Their will to win earned three 1-0 victories, including one at second-placed Sheffield United.
Alex Neil (Stoke City)
Could Stoke finally be showing the consistency that Neil craves? A difficult looking fixture list against four promotion contenders saw them go unbeaten and collect eight points, most impressively in a convincing 5-1 win at Sunderland.
Mark Robins (Coventry City)
Coventry’s players respond to the quiet assurance of Robins. He inspired the Sky Blues to eight points from four unbeaten games, three away from home, with a 10-3 goals differential and scoring four at both Huddersfield and Blackpool.
ALL WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON FRIDAY 7 APRIL 2023
