Summer signing Reuell Walters and academy graduate Joe Johnson have both been selected for England ahead of the September international break.

Walters, 19, has been called up for the Men's Elite League Squad (formerly known as Men's Under-20s) for the third time and is hoping to add to the one cap that he earned against Czech Republic back in March.

The former Arsenal academy graduate played for the England Under-18s and Under-19s on eight occasions and was a late call-up to the Elite League Squad in March to replace the injured Ryan Andrews.

Reu signed from Arsenal this summer and has already started three of the first four games this season, his first starts of his senior career.

England Elite League Squad will face Türkiye on Friday 6th September at Pendik Stadium in Istanbul before returning home to face Romania on Tuesday 10th September at Stockport County's Edgeley Park.

Meanwhile, Johnson is set to link up with the Will Antwi's Men's Under-19s squad for the first time.

JJ was part of the Under-17s World Cup squad in Indonesia less than one year ago and followed that up with three caps for the Under-18s.

In a year of growth for one of our own, Johnson, 18, signed a long-term contract extension in March and made two Premier League appearance last season before securing his first senior start against Burnley on the opening night of 24/25.

England Under-19s will have three friendlies out in Croatia, first against Italy at Stadium Nedelišće on Wednesday 4th September before two games at Stadium Koprivnica against Croatia on Saturday 7th September and Germany on Tuesday 10th September.

Elsewhere, goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski has been selected for Belgium's UEFA Nations League fixtures against Israel and France.
