Gabe Osho comes in to central defence in the replace of Lockyer, while Amari’i Bell takes over the captain’s armband.

The Town therefore begin with the same front five, including diamond player of the month Ross Barkley and on-loan Arsenal Sambi Lokonga in central midfield.

With his goal against Bournemouth chalked off the records, Elijah Adebayo remains in the hunt to become the first Town player since Mick Harford to score in three successive top-flight games since 1992.
