The Hatters head to Wycombe Wanderers tomorrow looking to secure their first away win of the Sky Bet League Two season.

Town's win over Port Vale on Tuesday night lifted them up to ninth, whilst the Chairboys drew with Mansfield Town at the One Call Stadium, leaving them in eighth.

Both Wycombe and the Hatters have taken the same amount of points from the last five games (eight), having drawn two, won two and lost one in that time – with the Hatters keeping three clean sheets along the way.

THE GAFFER SAYS:

On Tuesday night's win over Port Vale: "I don't want to overstate the importance, but it was important to get back to winning ways because we had three games without a win, and people will go the negative side of it, rather than it being two very good away draws.

"It's important to capitalise on our home games. We didn't capitalise fully, but out of both games, circumstances dictate the first one and it was important that we got the win in the second, and I was pleased with it."

On his expectations of tomorrow and for the season: "We have our own expectations which are no lower than what any other human being would have on this planet for where Luton should be. So we are going to make sure we are in a good place and that we stay in a good place for long periods of the season, and hopefully finish where we want to do."

WHO?

The Chairboys went close to challenging for the top places in Sky Bet League Two last season, but fell short right at the end. Now in their sixth consecutive season in the division, Gareth Ainsworth has recruited former Town striker Craig Mackail-Smith to help in what will likely be another season fighting in the higher reaches of the division for Wycombe.

WHEN AND WHERE?

Kick-off is at 3pm on Saturday 16th September at Adams Park.

Tomorrow's game is an ALL-TICKET fixture and supporters who have not purchased one in advance are advised not to travel.

LAST TIME WE PLAYED?

Our two meetings yielded four points last season, as Danny Hylton's hat-trick at home helped us on our way to a 4-1 win, whilst Scott Cuthbert's first goal of his

Town career opened the scoring in a 1-1 draw at Adams Park. Those results helped Town maintain their decent history over the Chairboys, having won ten of the 23 meetings between the two, drawing nine and only losing four. The Hatters have never tasted defeat on their travels to the Buckinghamshire club, winning six and drawing six of the 12 played at Adams Park.
