Luton Town are back on home soil this Saturday as we host AFC Bournemouth at Kenilworth Road in the Premier League.

Rob Edwards’ side took no points from their recent travels to the capital as the Hatters look to get back to winning ways in the final seven games of the season.

Andoni Iraola’s Cherries are one of the most in-form teams in the Premier League right now, winning four of their last five games.

This game is our dedicated No Room For Racism fixture, a campaign which we are proud to support and the players will take the knee before kick-off.

A period of silence will also take place before kick-off, paying tribute to four former Town players we were saddened to hear had recently passed away.

The opposition

Bournemouth come into this fixture with recent form that mirrors high-flyers Liverpool and Arsenal, the Cherries have picked up 13 points from their last five games.

The visitors have also won five away Premier League matches this season, only once have Bournemouth won six away Premier League games in a season.

The man in form for Bournemouth is Antoine Semenyo, who has been involved in five goals in his last seven Premier League appearances.

Striker Dominic Solanke has scored 16 Premier League goals this season, he has added two in his last three games.

Words from Rob

"The players know the pressure will only increase, but that’s okay because we can deal with that – we dealt with it last season, there was pressure with us to keep winning and we won the play-offs so we’re capable.

"The players have also spoken amongst themselves, they know what it means and they’re okay with the pressure. We’ve just to hope it brings out the best in us.

"It’s a huge weekend and a huge game. The players have spoken about winning, about focusing on winning a game of football – however we do it.

"We’ve performed well in this run where we haven’t picked up results, but I’d take a bad performance if it meant we got a good result."

Last time out

Luton’s 18-game scoring streak in the Premier League came to an end on Wednesday night as Arsenal went temporarily top of the table.

Martin Ødegaard’s opener and an own goal from Daiki Hashioka was the difference for the Gunners at Emirates Stadium.

Team news

Edwards is hopeful that Reece Burke could be fit to be involved against Bournemouth.

Our other ten injured players remain out for this fixture.

The referee for our fixture against Bournemouth will be Andy Madley.

106 yellow cards and four red cards have been handed out by Madley across his 28 games this season.

Fan information

We would like to remind supporters to arrive at the game as early as possible to ease congestion around the stadium, at the Ticket Office and the turnstiles.

There will be additional road closures around Kenilworth Road on home matchdays.

A message from Luton Community Fire Station

Please park considerately when attending football matches at Kenilworth Road. Fire crews have been struggling recently to get around irresponsibly parked vehicles on Studley Road when attending fire calls, which has caused concerns and unnecessary restrictions over recent weeks.

Don’t park on yellow lines, these are used where street parking makes the road too narrow or blocks visibility for drivers. Parking on corners could mean that an emergency vehicle travelling on blue lights cannot see oncoming traffic round the corner.

If you park without considering passing emergency vehicles, you could prevent a life from being saved.
