The match at The John Smith Stadium is the last before a two-week international break and the Hatters will look to secure another win on the road following a 1-0 victory against Rotherham United on Wednesday.
Huddersfield were narrowly beaten by Bristol City 2-1 in midweek and are three points behind the Town in 15th place coming into the game.

On the hectic schedule: “We go into the game and we need the international break to come, because it’s a ridiculous amount of games on all levels for all players. We’re talking Premier League, Champions League, everyone really. If we don’t have international breaks then this would be a watered down competition and that is what we can’t have because this is one of the best league’s in the world and I’m proud that we’re in it."
Squad fitness: “Norrington-Davies wasn’t as bad as we thought so we have him, we have Danny Hylton to come back in. We rested a couple tonight, Dewsbury-Hall and Jordan Clark, we’re in a decent position. We know we have a strong squad and we are pleased. It’s a humble squad and if I’m honest, they just need a little bit more belief, they can do well at this level."
Who?
Huddersfield became the first English club to win three successive English league titles in 1925-26. The first two league titles were won under manager and pioneer Herbert Chapman, who also led the team to FA Cup glory in 1922.
More recently, they gained promotion into the Premier League in 2017 after beating Reading in the play-off final.
They spent two seasons in the top flight but were relegated in 2019. Last season they finished 18th, level on points with the Hatters.
The Manager – Carlos Corberan
Carlos Corberan succeeded manager Danny Cowley In July this year, becoming the new head coach at Huddersfield.
Prior to his move to The John Smith’s Stadium, Corberan spent the last three years as under-23s manager at Leeds and took on additional first-team duties after Marcelo Bielsa arrived at the club.
Main Threat – Josh Koroma
Josh Koroma is currently the Terriers’ top scorer this season with three goals to his name, and he most recently added to that on Tuesday night against Bristol City.
He joined Huddersfield from Leyton Orient in 2019 and spent a period on loan with Rotherham United last season.
