The Hatters made it an unbeaten February as they picked up eight points from four games, but they come up against a Cambridge side in just as good form.
Joe Dunne took over after the departure of Shaun Derry, with the U's picking up three wins on the bounce before a defeat at Accrington Stanley last weekend since the former Colchester United boss took charge.
THE GAFFER SAYS:
On interim boss Joe Dunne taking over the reins at Cambridge: "He's done very well. Even with Shaun over the Christmas period they had a real good run of form. I think they've been in decent form for a while now.
"But since Shaun has left they've won three, drawn one, and lost one and I think they were very unfortunate to lose at Accrington because I wasn't convinced that goal should have stood. They're a side in good form but if I'm honest we prefer to play those."
On the game potentially being postponed: "We don't want to fall behind on games and have to play a significant amount. Some are playing, some are playing midweek and what we don't want to do is have a backlog of games. We want to keep up.
"I envisage there will be a lot called off this weekend. Outside the Championship it will be very difficult. I know the covers are on but temperatures have fallen to minus seven and covers just don't do it. With the treacherous areas in and around the grounds you'd expect a lot of games to go this weekend. We just hope that we're not one of them."
WHO?
A club who have played across the EFL over the past 40 years as well as Non-League as recently as 2014, when they were promoted alongside the Hatters, the U's have – like us – remained in the fourth tier ever since. Home to many a great goalscorer over the past few decades, with the likes of Dion Dublin, Dave Kitson and of course Luke Berry all pulling on a yellow and black jersey at some point during their careers.

PLAYED BEFORE?
Our last meeting proved to be the Hatters biggest win of the campaign – a 7-0 victory at Kenilworth Road in November. Although Danny Hylton netted a hat-trick, the game will be remembered for the outrageous goal from Olly Lee, who fired in from inside his own half. That was the 40th meeting between the teams, the result marking the 16th triumph for the Hatters. Cambridge have won nine of the games, the other 15 ending in draws.
