Luton Town Ladies 3-1 AFC Dunstable

Luton Town Ladies were back in action under the lights at Kenilworth Road last night, with Nikki Baker's side ending their season on a high with a 3-1 derby win over AFC Dunstable.

The Hatters Ladies took a half-time lead with an early goal from Jess McKay, after Leyah Maddix ran at the OD's defence and played her captain in to slot home.

It was roles reversed seven minutes after the break when McKay turned provider for Maddix to score an exquisite goal from a tight angle.

The best was still to come, however, as just before the hour mark, Lil Sanders collected a clearance from the visiting keeper and produced a calm finish from 40 yards out to make it 3-0.

AFC Dunstable pulled a goal bacl two minutes into added time, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Hatters adding all three points to their collection for a third place finish in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division.
