Academy and development manager Andy Awford took the side down to Cheshunt Country Club for the fixture, and was happy to see Connor Tomlinson and Callum Stead net for the Town.
"It was a really good exercise and slightly different to what we usually find when we come up against senior Non-League sides," said Awford.
"They played a bit of a south American style where they parked the bus and we had to try and break them down, but it was a decent run-out and valuable in getting more minutes into the players' legs, which is what pre-season is all about."
The Academy's next match is at Kempston Rovers this Saturday, kick-off is at 3pm.
