It was a busy night for the Welsh international as he collected five awards on the evening, with the Bobbers Travel Away Player of the Season, Junior Hatters Player of the Season, Internet Player of the Season and a share of the Players’ Player of the Season all scooped by the popular defender.
Lockyer shared the award which was voted for by his teammates with 20-goal striker Carlton Morris, who also landed the trophy for the Signing of the Season, after an incredible impact since arriving at Kenilworth Road last summer.
Elsewhere in the evening, Alfie Doughty picked up the Goal of the Season Trophy for his strike in the 3-0 win at QPR in December. Jordan Clark took home the Ian Pearce Memorial Trophy after a series of impressive home displays throughout the campaign, while Rob Edwards and his coaching staff named recent debutant Joe Johnson as the Young Player of the Season.
There was also recognition for the great Mick Harford, with the Trust awarding the Luton legend with their Kevin Catlin Outstanding Contribution Award for the incredible service he has given, and continues to give, to the club.
