The 18-year-old has enjoyed a successful loan spell with the Generals so far, as he added to his goal tally at the weekend.

After scoring in the 3-2 win against Gosport Borough last week, Braney was influential in a second successive victory against Truro.

It was his shot that created the first goal, as his effort was parried into the path of Jordan Edwards who made no mistake from close range.

Shortly after, Truro were reduced to 10 men and went two goals behind from the penalty spot, before the Luton loanee made it three before half-time with a fierce low strike past the keeper.

John McAtee was part of Grimsby Town's FA Cup heroics as they knocked League One side Cambridge United out of the competition with a last-minute winner.

Otis Khan put the Mariners just after the hour mark, before Sam Smith scored an equaliser for the home side. But just a minute after McAtee was substituted, Khan scored a winner to book a tie with Burton Albion in the Third Round.
