Young Hatters defender Jack James has joined Vanarama National League side Havant & Waterlooville on a one month youth loan.

The 18-year-old right-back joined up with the struggling Hampshire club ahead of their trip to Boreham Wood for this afternoon's game, for which he is eligible to make his debut.

Republic of Ireland U19 international Jack has made two senior appearances for the Town, both coming in the Checkatrade Trophy - last season as a substitute against Tottenham U21s, and this term in the 2-1 defeat at Peterborough.

He has also gained experience out on loan in the Southern League Premier Division last year with Hitchin Town.
