International call-ups for five Hatters!

Five Hatters will be representing Luton Town on international duty over the coming weeks ahead of our next Premier League fixture at Fulham.

Captain Tom Lockyer, who was selected by Rob Page for the Wales squad last week, has been forced to withdraw from the camp.

The skipper missed his first game of the season on Friday night when the Hatters hosted West Ham United due to a thigh injury.

Republic of Ireland have selected Chiedozie Ogbene as part of their squad with two massive European qualifiers against France and the Netherlands on the horizon.

Luton’s number seven will be looking to add to his 15 Irish caps when the Boys in Green travel to Paris to face 2022 World Cup finalists France on Thursday evening.

Jamaican international Amari’i Bell is back with the Reggae Boyz after reaching the Gold Cup semi-finals in July.

The defender heads to Kingston for CONCACAF Nations League fixtures against Honduras and Haiti, hoping to add to his 15 Jamaica caps.

Luton Town history-maker Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu has been selected by DR Congo for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan and friendly against South Africa.

Mpanzu has just two caps for his nation and will look to add to his tally after being injured for his last call-up back in March, with DR Congo needing at least a draw to qualify for AFCON.

Another Hatter that could be involved in an AFCON qualifier is full-back Issa Kaboré with Burkina Faso, who play Eswatini in Marrakech before a friendly against Morocco.

The Manchester City loanee has 32 caps and got an assist in the AFCON semi-final defeat to Senegal in February 2022.

Finally, goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski will be part of Belgium’s squad for Euro qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Estonia.
