The Hatters Community Trust are releasing their Kenilworth Memories reminiscence cards created last year as part of their Heritage Lottery funded Schools Project, which took the Club's 135-year history into the community.

All supporters can now relive some of the club's most memorable moments through the cards that feature players and significant events down the years. The front of the cards show a picture of a past player or match, and asks questions about the player and match while on the reverse giving facts and further information designed to help stimulate conversations as the memories come flooding back.

Kevin Thoburn, Head of the Hatters Community Trust commented: "We're releasing our Kenilworth Memory cards now to all supporters as we think they will help during the continued lockdown to bring younger and older supporters together.

"What better way to connect with an older relative or neighbour than having a simple five or ten-minute chat reminiscing about the mighty Hatters. A simple conversation could make all the difference to the mental wellbeing of those more vulnerable supporters who are likely to face lockdown for some time yet."

Supporters can access Kenilworth Memories at https://www.lutontowncommunity.co.uk/kenilworth-memories

As well as releasing the first X1 Kenilworth Memories cards, the Community Trust would like to hear from supporters with their suggestions for further memory cards they can create. With 135 years to look back on we're sure you have plenty of suggestions!

You can send your suggestions in with the reason for your choice to community@lutontown.co.uk and the most popular ones will be added to the existing collection.
