Hatters to face German side VfL Bochum in final friendlies!

German Bundesliga side VfL Bochum will be the Town’s final opposition in a double-header of pre-season matches – and our last before the Premier League campaign kicks off at Brighton and Hove Albion.

Rob Edwards and his squad will travel to the Ruhr Valley to take on the team that finished 14th in the German top-flight last season in two matches to be played on Saturday 5th August.

The first will kick-off at 1.30pm, with the second following at 4.15pm local time at the Vonovia Ruhrstadion.

Supporters will be able to attend both matches at the 26,000-capacity stadium, with seating and terracing available through Bochum's eticketing website. Town fans will be able sit in block E2 (15 EUR adults, £10 EUR children 0-14 and disabled) or stand in block E1 (8 EUR adults, 5 EUR children, disabled and students).

Access for wheelchair users, including an accompanying helper, is available for 8 EUR. Please email fanauftrager@vfl-bochum.de to book a place.

The announcement means the Town’s pre-season schedule is now complete with games against Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves already in the diary.

Tuesday 25th July - 7.30pm KOIpswich Town (A) – Jobserve Community Stadium (Colchester United)

Saturday 29th July - 3pm KOSheffield Wednesday (A) – Hillsborough

Wednesday 2nd August - 7.30pm KOWolverhampton Wanderers (A) – Molineux

Saturday 5th August - 1.30pm/4.15pm CESTBochum (A) – Vonovia Ruhrstadion
