Club captain Sonny Bradley, midfielder Luke Freeman and goalkeeper Jack Walton were first team players involved, along with young midfielders Louie Watson and Elliot Thorpe and Wales U21 striker Joe Taylor.

Taylor and Freeman were on target as the Hatters bounced back from conceding two first-half goals to claim a creditable 2-2 draw with the Premier League club's experienced second team, featuring Iran international midfielder Saman Ghoddos.
