Following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, we invited local children from Madinah Mosque on Oak Road to have a football session on the pitch at Kenilworth Road.

Although the heavy rain had made it a very wet experience, it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm and the children were very excited to make the most of the opportunity.

The local community, including Madinah Mosque, have played such a huge part in the success of the operational aspect of matchdays, especially in our first season of Premier League football at Kenilworth Road.

The club are very appreciative of the continued support, and it is nice to welcome our friends and neighbours to enjoy a kickabout at the Kenny.

Some of the children take advantage of the road closures and enjoy a five-a-side game on the streets outside. For them to come inside the stadium and play on the pitch has been amazing and something they will always remember.
