Luton Town legends from the 1980s were reunited at Luton Hoo's Warren Weir last night as part of the club's Christmas celebrations.

More than 20 of the Hatters squad who reached the top flight and flourished during a wonderful decade in which FA Cup semi-finals were reached and the Littlewoods Cup final won were present, along with manager David Pleat, assistant Trevor Hartley and physio John Sheridan.

BBC TV and radio football reporter Mark Clemmit compered the evening, which was sponsored by A-Line Insurance and featured interviews with several of the players.
