Elliot, 26, enjoyed a productive loan spell last season in the third tier - a division he won with the Hatters in 2018/19 - with Oxford United, scoring six times in 18 matches, and will hope to make a similar impression at The Valley.

The former Barnsley man originally joined the club in 2015 and has appeared once for the Hatters this season, playing 79 minutes against Stevenage in the Carabao Cup.
