Doughty, Mengi and Mpanzu available as Ogbene set to miss out at Spurs

Chieo Ogbene will not be available for our visit to Tottenham Hotspur after coming off during the Republic of Ireland's first international match of the break.

The speedster felt his hamstring during the game with the Boys in Green against Thomas Kaminski's Belgium - his tendon was scanned by the medical team on his return to the Luton squad and he could be out for a "few weeks", according to manager Rob Edwards.

There is more positive news for the two players who went off prematurely against Nottingham Forest, as Alfie Doughty and Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu have trained this week and are available for selection if they get through the Friday training session.

Sambi Lokonga, Elijah Adebayo and Mads Andersen have had recurrences which have kept them on the sidelines, while Gabe Osho's bruising on his knee is being monitored on a day-to-day basis.

Youngster Joe Johnson is "better" said Edwards after recovering from glandular fever, who could be available but will not be pushed back into action.

Our latest Young Lion Teden Mengi was originally recalled from the England Under-21 squad due to knee soreness, before returning for their final fixture and is available for the weekend.

All other players who were unable before the break remain out for our visit to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
