The 20-year-old penned a new professional development contract last month before heading north of the border to start pre-season training with the newly-promoted Dens Park club.

The left-sided centre-half or full-back has impressed enough in training to earn second-half appearances in a 3-0 win over Leyton Orient and a 2-2 draw with West Ham last week, before signing his loan agreement today.

Head of academy coaching and professional player development, Adrian Forbes, said: “We are delighted that Corey has earned this opportunity at Dundee. The Scottish Premiership is a real step up for him in his development, and he’ll get a great education up there playing with and against some experienced pros.

“He’s travelled away from home for the first time and made a good impression in pre-season so far. Dundee is a good club who have looked after him, and it will be a great life experience for Corey as well as hugely beneficial to his game.

“We’re really pleased that clubs of Dundee’s pedigree are looking at our young players as potential loan signings, and we’ll be looking forward to seeing how he progresses over the next few months.”

Everyone at Kenilworth Road wishes Corey the best of luck during his time with the Dark Blues.
