Edwards also had good news regarding the fitness of Jordan Clarke and hopes the midfielder may be fit for a return just before the next international break in mid-November.
At his pre-match press conference, the boss looked ahead to the Premier League clash against the side that gave him his first professional contract and one who have won their last 11 matches on home soil.
“It’s not scary,” he said when asked if he and his side feared heading to the West Midlands. “We’re well aware of their threats, that they’re scoring goals and playing real attacking, fluid football.
“But we’ve prepared we’re looking forward to the challenge.”
