Brown and Kaboré unavailable for Burnley

The Hatters will be without the suspended Jacob Brown for Friday’s Premier League clash at Burnley.

The attacker, who missed the Town’s draw with Bolton last Sunday with a knee injury, picked up his fifth booking of the season in the defeat against Chelsea.

Rob Edwards will also now be without the services of Issa Kaboré with the defender now joining up with the Burkina Faso squad for the African Cup of Nations.

With Marvelous Nakamba and Tom Lockyer unavailable, the Hatters boss still has a strong squad to pick for the trip to Turf Moor.

Chiedozie Ogbene “is back in a good place”, according to Edwards, after he returned to the Town line-up for last weekend’s FA Cup tie against Bolton.

“He’s back to his most threatening best,” said the manager at his pre-match press conference. “He gives us real competition and with Browny unavailable, it’s important we have people like Chieo to affect things. He was electric before he got injured, causing teams a lot of problems and he’s pretty much there now.”
