Luton Town Community Trust – Summer Camps

With the summer holidays just around the corner, the Luton Town Community Trust’s Summer Camps are fast approaching.

Starting the week commencing 22nd July, the camps will take place at various venues in and around Luton Bedford and Dunstable. Our camps are open to all children in school years 1 to 6, regardless of their ability or previous experience with the game. Run by professional coaches, our camps offer young people the chance to learn new skills and improve their technique in a positive, fun, and safe environment.

Each day begins with warm-up activities, focusing on individual SAQ (Speed, Agility, and Quickness) skills and ball mastery. This is followed by individual and team games, where participants develop their social skills and learn to collaborate effectively with their teammates.

In the afternoon, all participants engage in football tournaments and matches, with the emphasis on having fun rather than winning. To conclude each day, we hold a mini awards ceremony to recognise those who have demonstrated a positive attitude, determination, or exceptional performance

Community Trust Head of Operations, Adam Woulds, said: “We take pride in the fact that our camps are open to all, whether you’ve been playing football for a few years or just taking your first steps in the game, everyone is welcome. We love creating a sense of community where everyone feels supported by our coaches, as well as their peers, and seeing new friendships form.”
