In defence there are two changes: Mads Andersen replaces Teden Mengi and with Amari’i Bell out with a hamstring injury, Reece Burke returns to the starting XI.

Ross Barkley returns on the bench, where there is also a place for Joe Johnson, fresh from playing for the under-21s at York last night.

Meanwhile Ange Postecoglou names an unchanged Tottenham side from the XI that beat Liverpool last weekend.

Subs: Foster, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Gil, Royal, Dier, Lo Celso, Davies, Veliz.
